We had dinner with Grace’s parents and Gene on Tuesday night. With 鱼生 and 盆菜, and also hot-pan grilled meat and lotus root soup.

Food, drums and Esther doing homework

On 17 Jan, we picked up another set of Yamaha DTXplorer digital drum set, which is the same model as ours, for $250. We added the sound module and some pads to our set. We now have 4 (instead of 2) cymbals, 4 (instead of 3) tom-toms and one additional effects pad (we assigned the gong). Much richer in drum choices, and feels more pro.

Last look of TYL, KTP office moved in, liquors
YowCH moved into the KTP new office space in the first week of January, and by 10 Jan, he was fully settled in.

And we had some fun with liquors at home. This is a layered drink with strong taste, using Campari, Jaegermeister and Tequila.

Our four children are now in 4 different schools, and here they are in their uniforms:

We had a great dinner at Brotzeit, Vivocity on 1 Jan 2017.

There was a sale at G-Factory, and YowCH bought a discounted G-Shock MTG-S1000BD-1A, the 2nd highest range of G-Shock (top range is the MRG). This watch is metal, with a metal-composite resin bracelet, solar rechargeable, scratch-proof sapphire glass and certainly looks very professional and great. Regular price is $1,450, the discounted price is $999.00. Had this discount come a few months earlier, the Aviation GA1000FC-1A would not be bought. The lower photo shows the MTG compared to the Mudmaster.
